The best Italian food in the area. Very friendly and talkative staff. I recommend the fried calamari, shrimp, and artichokes for an app. My go-to main pasta dish is always the "Calamari Fra Diavolo" Mild spicy and extremely flavorful. Unlike most Italian places in the area, this food is seasoned to perfection. My family and I go out of our way to visit almost every weekend.

Great food, large portions, good service, everything was hot and fresh. Make a reservation fills up fast. Highly recommend.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever. Service was beyond terrible. Waited over 1 hour for dinner. Our waitress wouldn’t even make eye contact with us to explain or apologize for wait. Hostess only came over once to say there was a mix up in the kitchen. Other tables came and left and we were still not served. When we got our bill nothing was taken off, not 1 drink comped or nothing to try to alleviate our horrible experience. I won’t even mention my dinner was not how I ordered it. Will never go back!

Truly a place of joy. I attended a conference here recently and they have ample meeting space. I also enjoyed the best services from committed employees. I would refer friends to this hotel!!!!.

Second only to my family"s restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. Everything we've gotten here has been excellent. The portions are overly generous. Anthony and family will go out of their way to satisfy your needs. We also order the Family Take Out Specials, because simply, a great deal for fantastic food. Our very favorites, Chicken Romano and any of the Parmigiana. Do yourself a favor, try this gem of a restaurant.

Wonderful Italian food, fantastic waitstaff, relaxing atmosphere all lead to a great time and a great value. The food is authentic and plentiful and accompanied by a nice selection of wines and cocktails. Be sure to try the fried dough with cannoli filling for dessert!

We sat at the bar aland our service was delightful. Food was wonderful with good size portions. Enough to have a second great meal the next day. What as gem !!!

Wow I stopped by for lunch to see what the pace was about and was pleasantly surprised by the quaint atmosphere and friendly staff. I got a simple chicken cutlet sandwich for 10 bucks and it was huge along with a huge order of fries. The staff gave me the low down what dishes the recommend for dinner and I will definitely be returning with my wife soon to try them out. The menu isn’t large but seem to be well thought out not trying to make a bunch of dishes that might just be ok.

Great food large portions reasonably priced

This food was incredible!!! We had thier catering at a family party in May and knew the next party we had, we would be getting our found from them. Any time we need catering for any event this will be our place. My favorite is the chicken francaise.

Expect to be ordering out from here often...excellent food but have to get a table weeks in advance since it is so popular!! Excellent atmosphere and everyone who works there is extremely friendly!

Amazing! That's all I can say! Incredible family owned Italian that rivals the best in NYC! Bring your own wine allows you to enjoy outstanding food without breaking the bank! Make sure you make a reservation asap. Without it, there's a good chance you will not get in.

Takeout was amazing!

I've always enjoyed this restaurant and the food is always spot on traditional Italian. Plates are always a large portion that we end up bringing half of it home. However, the wait for food is always over an hour. Always. Usually it works well since we like to talk and take our time for dinner. Don't expect quick service here or you will be disappointed

Great food .... awful service. They did make it right by not charging us anything for our four lunch meals. We were there literally 3 hours for lunch and we all ordered from the lunch special menu. They had a private party in the main dining room which sent service into a tailspin. Not enough staff. I knew it was going to be a problem when the waitress took our order and did not write anything down. Came back once to reconfirm. We got one meal after an hour and the other three came an hour after that. I really think she totally forgot to put the order in while trying to handle the private party too. I do have to give them credit by making it right by not charging us and like I said , once the meal arrived the food was good. PS: we did not stiff the waitress.

They perfectly execute classic Italian dishes! My whole family loved their meals. Great staff too, Ashley was extremely funny and witty, elevated our experience. WILL COME BACK

This is a authentic Italian restaurant with fantastic food and friendly service. It’s family owned and the chef is the patriarchy and does the cooking. Any dish you chose will delight you and please your palet. Sunday is special as “Sunday sauce” is made and you feel like you back in Nonna kitchen. One word of warning, but well in advance they fill up fast on the weekends.

A great Italian restaurant. We were there in the summer and were able to sit outside. The service was great as well as the food. We were not rushed as it should be. However, a word of warning: the seating is limited so make a reservation well in advance. MAKE A RESERVATION or you will be disappointed. We will return often when we can get in.

Took over a burger pub but did not remake it enough. Space needs to be a bit more "cozy" vs bar grub scene. Not a fan of open bar/tv within dining area. Need privacy wall. Pasta with sausage very good but a bit too much sausage. A plus for some! Service was good with waiter to patron ratio like 4:1! Will try again with different dish. Not much non meat eater options and to nit pick their chalk special board needs creativity. Looks like a 5yr old wrote it!

Great combination of excellent good and incredible service. From apps to dinner to dessert it's all delicious. Pasta was delicious as well as seafood. Waitstaff ensured complete satisfaction. Can't wait to go back for a second visit.

Deeeeelish! House made gnocchi - melt in your mouth yum...meatballs - yum...veal special - so yum...fish special generously prepared with a xlarge piece of very fresh cod & sweet mussels - super yum! Dessert was fresh and yummy too! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service!! Prices are on the higher side but worth every penny for the quality, quantity, and flavor of the food you're getting.

Unusual menu, not many options for someone who doesn't eat seafood.

If you're looking for a delicious home cooked Italian meal at very affordable prices stop into this Newtown restaurant! You will not be disappointed. Tends to be busy and a little loud at peak times but that's because everyone is having a great time.

OMG if you have not been here - go and go fast for fabulous Italian food. I have passed by their place when I would drive by in Monroe and say "gee that looks like a cute little Italian place" but never stopped (foolish me) now that it has moved to Newtown by Boost Cycle I figured I would give it a try. Seriously Newtown just gained a terrific Italian restaurant. Super good food - well run - very attentive staff - all their Monroe regulars are coming and It is time that Newtown took a trip down to this gem of a restaurant. It is located in the Plaza South shopping center. My family and I enjoyed a great dinner and being the second time here - it certainly will not be our last!!!!

Best Italian food hands down also a shout out to Rolt our server. Extremely polite and efficient...request him !
